Anne Söderlund, Professor in Physiotherapy at Mälardalen University, will be Arcada's first affiliated professor. With the appointment, Arcada wants to strengthen its Nordic network and research.
Arcada opened the academic year 2020-2021 on Wednesday 2 September. The key role of education to create the society’s path out of the crisis was a theme that was highlighted during the event, where a majority of the guests this year followed online.
Arcada's campus reopened on 3.8, but a large part of its activities has continued and will continue remotely. Arcada's security team, under the leadership of the Rector Mona Forsskåhl, has made a new assessment of the situation.
A total of 282 students completed their degree at Arcada during the spring semester, despite the challenging scenario caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The situation does not seem to have had a significant effect on Arcada’s number of graduating students.
The Arcada campus is closed for summer 11-31.7.
The switchboard is available for calls (0294 282 699) from 10 am to 2 pm (10-14) on weekdays throughout the summer.
More information on the re-opening of campus in August will be published in late July.
Artificial intelligence and robotics are already changing the way we work. Arcada is now launching a new project on artificial intelligence and robotics in the social and health care field.
