Arcada introduces a discount on the tuition fee for applicants who are accepted on the basis of the OMPT test

In the 2024 admission to the English-taught bachelor's programmes International Business and Mechanical and Sustainable Engineering, Arcada uses the Dutch OMPT test as a selection method. Fee-paying applicants who are accepted through OMPT receive a discount on the first year’s tuition fee.
The applicant pays the cost of OMPT themselves. Arcada has decided that all fee-paying applicants who are admitted on the basis of OMPT will receive a discount on their tuition fee for the first academic year corresponding to the cost of one test attempt. For admission in 2024, the cost, and thus the discount, amounts to 220 euros. Every year, Arcada checks the costs with OMPT External link.
Arcada uses OMPT-A (International Business) and OMPT-G (Mechanical and Sustainable Engineering). If an applicant has taken both OMPT-A and OMPT-G, only the cost that applies to the study place they accept is reimbursed.
Only those who have accepted their study place offer will be reimbursed. Non-paying applicants and applicants who receive a full scholarship are not reimbursed for the costs of the OMPT.
