Maria is dean of the Academy of Business Economics andHealthcare at Arcada. She is responsible for the education within the field, as well as language education and continuous learning for the entire university. She is an experienced leader with a passion for educational innovation. She strongly believes in using technology and digital tools to enable learning and create more engaging and useful education for students. She is particularly interested in developing skills that are relevant for the digitalized and changing job market, and works hard to create educational programs that align with this. This also includes involving companies and organizations to ensure that the education is relevant for the workforce, and giving students opportunities to practice what they have learned in college. She is a visionary and enthusiastic leader who is passionate about creating high-quality education.
